What is Work-Based Learning? WBL is a new initiative of the NV DOE that provides students with authentic work experiences, enabling them to develop and apply technical skills that can help them succeed in careers and post-secondary education.

We have a NEW College and Career Center. Students will have the opportunity to utilize the resources in the Center so that they may complete college applications, scholarship assistance, go on a journey of self-discovery to find their passion, find and apply for summer jobs, and learn new work-based skills.
Hours: 8:00-4:00 Monday – Friday
Location: Office next to boys locker room (look for the sign!)

Career Exploration
Stop by the counseling office for one-on-one assistance in researching and finding the best career fits and options for students. Please feel free to check out the website below and take any of the Career Inventory Assessments. Students may explore careers through guest speakers, career fairs, job shadowing, online research, summer programs, internships, and apprenticeships.
