Internships

An internship is a work experience that gives a student an opportunity to "try out" a career.  Internships are for students, age 16+. Internships can be during the school year or the summer. Students that work at an internship for 60 hours within one semester are eligible for 1/2 elective credit. Students are required to:

  • Complete internship paperwork with parent signatures

  • Keep track of hours worked

  • Complete a final internship report at the end of the semester

Host employers are vetted by the WBL Coordinator and students are supervised while at their host employer location.

Internships can also lead to a full-time or part-time position. Internships can be paid or un-paid.

We can help students find an internship in whatever career path they are considering. Here are just a few examples of available opportunities. Not all available internships are listed here.

CONTACT MRS. HOPPER FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THESE AND OTHER AVAILABLE INTERNSHIPS. IN ORDER TO GET CREDIT FOR AN INTERNSHIP, STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE A WBL AND INTERNSHIP APPLICATION.
